Many users claim that the irmonv32.dll file is a malicious application that is associated with the Troj/Wimpix-Gen program, which is a family of Trojans. The same users state that the irmonv32.dll file is disguised as a legitimate Dynamic Link Library (DLL) module, in order to trick users into downloading the irmonv32.dll file with other files and applications, then leaving it stored in their Windows-based systems. Upon the successful placement and activation of the irmonv32.dll process in the system, the same users reported that the irmonv32.dll process starts to create keys and entries that it can inject into the Windows System Registry. These registry keys and entries are said to allow the irmonv32.dll process to automatically initialize during system startup, and a few users claim that the irmonv32.dll process, upon its successful initialization as a background process of the infected system without user consent, begins to search for system vulnerabilities that it can exploit, such as unsecure TCP/IP network ports.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. irmonv32.dll. is used by Troj/Wimpix-Gen, If you shut down irmonv32.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop irmonv32.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Troj/Wimpix-Gen, from your system.
