The file icnovrly.dll, known as IcnOvrly.dll, belongs to software Veriface by Lenovo (Beijing). Veriface is software that identifies the user's digital image using a Lenovo IdeaPad. This application is used mostly in security systems, but it is also suitable for enhanced Windows login action and for various file encryption and decryption purposes. In lieu of a password, VeriFace identifies the user by matching the unique facial features to photographs that have been stored into the system using a 1.3 megapixel webcam. It employs a facial recognition algorithm that analyzes shape, position, size, eye color, jaw dimensions and other facial characteristics from an image. The algorithm uses mathematical functions to compare the data of the acquired images with the data of the images already scanned and stored in a database. For file encryption and decryption, facial recognition is used in place of passwords to access encrypted files.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. icnovrly.dll. is used by VeriFace, If you shut down icnovrly.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop icnovrly.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is VeriFace, from your system.
