The file iasv32.dll is known as Ias or NETWORK Security (Ias). IAS (Internet Authentication Service) is the Microsoft implementation of Remote Authentication Dial-in User Service (RADIUS) server and proxy, which is an industry standard for client-server protocol. This component of Windows Server operating system provides centralized user authentication, authorization, and accounting. As a RADIUS proxy, IAS provides the routing of RADIUS messages between clients, proxies and servers, and is a central routing point through which RADIUS access and accounting messages flow. When used as a RADIUS server, IAS performs centralized connection authentication, authorization, accounting and auditing (AAAA) for network access that includes wireless, authenticating switch, and remote access dial-up and virtual private network (VPN) connections. There are five components to the IAS infrastructure and these are the access servers (RADIUS CLIENT), access clients, IAS server (RADIUS server), IAS proxies (RADIUS proxies), and user account databases.
