What is  iadhide4.dll

The iadhide4.dll file is part of the BackWeb applet, which is a small program that is built into the firmware and driver software packages of certain hardware devices from Logitech. The iadhide4.dll file is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) module, which means the data stored in this file can be simultaneously used and referenced by multiple programs. This is why the iadhide4.dll module is also used and referenced by the firmware and driver software resources of certain hardware devices from diffrent product manufacturers, such as Compaq and Hewlett Packard. The BackWeb applet is integrated with a set of functionalities that allow the system and the associated firmware and driver software resources of supported hardware devices to automatically initiate contact with company Web servers in order to determine whether there are driver and firmware updates available for download. When updates are available, the BackWeb applet prompts the user for a set of actions, and the user can select from these options to either ignore the updates, or download and install the updates into the system.
