The file i2psvc.exe, known as Java Service Wrapper Community Edition, belongs to software Java Service Wrapper Community by Tanuki Software. This software is not only designed as a configurable utility that allows Java programs to be installed and controlled like native NT or UNIX services but also includes advanced fault detection software that monitors an application. The features include the ability to run as a Windows Service, the ability to run as a UNIX daemon, and the ability to control process priority. Java Service Wrapper is able to detect freezes, crashes, and out of memory and exception events, and communicates to the user through an email notification when a problem is detected. It has the ability to react automatically to any of the events that could harm the system, and reacts by shutting down the application or restarting it with a minimum delay. This application features codeless integration, and capture and logging of all console output from JVM.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. i2psvc.exe. is used by Jave Service Wrapper Community, If you shut down i2psvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop i2psvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Jave Service Wrapper Community, from your system.
