The file hud.exe is a windows executable command for the process Gamer HUD which is associated with the video tweaking utility software HUD or Gamer HUD Lite by Gigabyte. The program is used to overclock both the software and the hardware. The executable command file is required to run the software and implement its function on the computer. Although it is associated with the said programs, certain antivirus programs recognize the process as a cloaked malware which can slow down the performance of the machine. It is best to check if a similar software as mentioned above is installed in the system. Otherwise, remove the hud.exe that is running in the system as this may be a cloaked malware that could potential harm the machine.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hud.exe. is used by HUD and Gamer HUD Lite, If you shut down hud.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hud.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HUD and Gamer HUD Lite, from your system.
