The process hsvcmod.exe is the executable component file of the ViRobot Desktop, a system security software program for protection of the user’s systems against malicious programs, worms, viruses, spywares, spam mails and other illegitimate process applications owned by the HAURI Technology, Inc. The ViRobot Desktop functions by protecting e-mail spams, working an anti-virus activity, protecting files and folders from being corrupted, securing system network and other security actions. These specific functions block several malicious codes and virus attacks that harm a user’s system therefore improving the computer environment and assisting in total security functions. The hsvcmod.exe EXE component is activated into the system upon installing the ViRobot Desktop software and is configured as the executable program core file, where it contains instructions to run the ViRobot Desktop program unto the system, connect the UI (User Interface) and execute the actions of its data backup and local/FTP placement.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hsvcmod.exe. is used by ViRobot Desktop, If you shut down hsvcmod.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hsvcmod.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ViRobot Desktop, from your system.
