What is  hddlife.exe

The hddlife.exe file is a process that is part of the application HDDlife created by BinarySense, Ltd. This process is created to ensure the healthy state of your hard drive regularly. It sends reports of the test results automatically. It prevents drive failure. It is a hard drive monitoring tool with built-in alert systems to inform the user of any hard drive malfunction. It helps to avoid permanent data loss. This process comes with the hard drive inspector that is a proactive hard drive failure detection system. The hddlife.exe process can control hard disks. It has S.M.A.R.T. Technology and can work with a single computer or a computer network. It uses this technology to send signals to system administrator when the hard drive attributes exceed the threshold values and therefore warn you that the hard drive might be at risk. The system administrator may backup the data in the system and enable the user to replace the hard drive before it fails. The hddlife.exe process runs when you start Windows.
