The hddcameramonitor.exe file is the process called HDDCameraMonitor that is used by the application ImageMixer3 created by Pixela Corporation. It is not a core file for Windows. This process file can monitor programs and record inputs. ImageMixer 3 for Panasonic is a software that comes with the product Panasonic SD Card/ Hard Disk Video Camera. This application lets you create original contents for DVD [DVD-VR and DVD-Video] with music and videos that you import to your computer. You can edit videos and make your own original DVD titles by creating edited movies on DVD. It supports DVD playback on supported DVD player so you can share it with your others like family. You can browse contents from the camcorder connected to your computer. It supports drag and drop to import contents. You can view videos directly on disc from the camcorder. You can edit movies by sorting and trimming videos and adding audio roll, end roll and transition effects. It supports DVD-Video authoring. You can add menus and titles to create effects for your videos. It also allows title editing for still image slideshow.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hddcameramonitor.exe. is used by ImageMixer3, If you shut down hddcameramonitor.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hddcameramonitor.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ImageMixer3, from your system.
