The hbhelper.dll file is the process called HBHelper Module that is used by the application Rich Media created by Shanghai Henbang Technology Co. A DLL [dynamic link library] file is an application that has functions that are applicable to other programs. This mechanism allows a developer to improve the functions of a program without the need to recompile or re-link. A DLL file is easy to arrange and install. It can inject into other running processes to alter or control their behavior. This DLL file is a BHO or browser helper object that automatically runs when you launch the Internet browser. It can monitor the Internet browser. Rich Media blends strategy, creativity and technology for video, interactive, animation, print, wireless and social media solutions.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hbhelper.dll. is used by Rich Media, If you shut down hbhelper.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hbhelper.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Rich Media, from your system.
