The guardian.exe file is an executable process that is bundled with the Hide IP NG and Hide IP Speed programs, which are applications that were developed by Hide IP Software. The Hide IP software is an application with integrated features that can allow users to protect their privacy and encrypt their IP address, Web browser details and other PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data whenever they transmit data to and from their computers and various websites or servers on the Internet. The Hide IP Speed application is a program that can enable users to still enjoy fast video streams even with their IP addresses, Web browser details and PII data protected and encrypted by the Hide IP Speed software. The guardian.exe process is normally found in the same application folder where the Hide IP NG software or the Hide IP Speed was installed in the system, which is usually a sub directory under the Program Files directory of the system partition.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. guardian.exe. is used by Hide IP NG and Hide IP Speed, If you shut down guardian.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop guardian.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Hide IP NG and Hide IP Speed, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.
