The file glsv.exe, known as bitcoin-miner, belongs to software Bitcoin Miner by Ufasoft. This application is open source bitcoin miner for ZTEX USB -FPGA Modules 1.15, which are developed for prototyping and small series development but may also be used as development boards. Bitcoin (BTC) is a digital currency that is used for peer-to-peer electronic payments system. Bitcoins are created through an automated process by bitcoin miners that run on an Internet-based network and confirm bitcoin transactions by adding codes to a decentralized log. BTC Miner by Ufasoft supports FPGA Boards Spartan 6 USB-FPGA Module 1.15b, 1.15d, 1.15x and 1.15y. It has a dynamic scaling frequency based on error measurement, which means BTC Miner automatically chooses the frequency with the highest rate of valid hashes. Other features include cluster mode with hot plugging that allows users to run large amounts of FPGA boards and a ready-to-use bitstream that does not require a license or Xilinx Software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. glsvc.exe. is used by Bitcoin Miner, If you shut down glsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop glsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Bitcoin Miner, from your system.
