The file geebb.dll is identified by Kaspersky as Adware.Win32.VirtuMonde.gen, while BitDefender identifies the process as part of Trojan.Vundo.ECP. Trojan Vundo exists in many different varieties, showing symptoms of infection that range widely from the relatively benign to severe. This Trojan is sometimes called VirtuMonde, Vundo, Virtumondo, and MS Juan. The common feature of the different varieties of Trojan Vundo is the display of intrusive popup advertising that are usually related to rogue anti-spyware. This malware installs as a browser helper object (BHO) that exploits the vulnerabilities found in Internet browsers. The usual sources of infection are email spam that contains the malware in an attachment, peer-to-peer file sharing, and drive-by downloads. Once installed in the system, it prevents the user from removing it or impede its operation by disabling the Task Manager, Registry Editor, and Misconfig, effectively preventing the system from booting into safe mode.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. geebb.dll. is used by Trojan Vundo, If you shut down geebb.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
