The freepdfa.exe file is the process called Wartet auf FreePDF.ps und startet FreePDF.exe that is used by the application FreePDF by shbox. It is not a core file for Windows. It is a non-system process that originates from the program installed in the system. This program uses an icon on the taskbar. There is a visible window for this program. It is not a system process that originates from the software installed in the system. The freepdfa.exe file has no digital signature. It automatically runs on local machine for autorun registry entries or on running processes. You can access the program FreePDF on Windows Control Panel. FreePDF is a software that lets you create files in PDF format from any program. It can summarize multiple prints into single PDF using MultiDoc function. It can also create image file formats like the multi-page TIFF.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. freepdfa.exe. is used by FreePDF, If you shut down freepdfa.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop freepdfa.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is FreePDF, from your system.
