The freebhor.dll file is the process called Freedom used by the application Freedom Security & Privacy developed by Zero-Knowledge Systems. A dynamic link library [DLL] file has a mechanism of shared codes and data that allow a developer to upgrade the functions of a program without the need to re-link or recompile. This DLL [dynamic link library] file is a BHO or browser helper object that automatically runs when you launch the Internet browser. Personal firewalls often do not stop BHO activities because the firewall detects the BHO as the browser itself. This is not a visible program. It can monitor the Internet browser. You can access the program on Windows Control Panel. The freebhor.dll file has no digital signature. It automatically starts on Explorer BHOs. Freedom Security & Privacy Suite is a package of security solutions including anti-virus defense, personal firewall and privacy tools.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. freebhor.dll. is used by Freedom Security & Privacy, If you shut down freebhor.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop freebhor.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Freedom Security & Privacy, from your system.
