The eyeballchat.exe file is the process called Eyeball Chat that is used by the application Eyeball Chat developed by Eyeball Networks. The location of this executable file is in the C:\Program Files subfolder. The size of this file is 2,863,176 bytes. This program uses a visible window. It is a non-system process that originates from the application installed in the system. You can access the program on the Windows Control Panel. This process uses Internet connection. The eyeballchat.exe file can record inputs. It can monitor programs. Eyeball Chat is proprietary software that features video telephony soft phone that includes multiple protocol instant messaging on Windows and VoIP. It is offered for free for personal use. It enables exchange of text messages for conferences or individuals and with buddies on Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, Google Talk and AIM. It also supports free voice calls from computer to phone or between PCs, drag and drop sharing of photos and files, video conferencing [maximum of 5 persons], video chat, still snapshots while on video call, chat rooms with options for privacy, custom avatars, picture-in-picture, call transfer, call forwarding, call hold and unhold and standard-based communication protocols.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. eyeballchat.exe. is used by Eyeball Chat, If you shut down eyeballchat.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop eyeballchat.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Eyeball Chat, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as Eyeball Chat, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.

The first thing you should do if eyeballchat.exe. is causing errors on your computer is to run a Windows registry scan with Registry Reviver If you are still seeing errors after this you should uninstall the program that eyeballchat.exe, belongs to, in this case Eyeball Chat
