The file esclavo.exe is known as Windows Live Messenger, formerly known as MSN Messenger. This application is a discontinued instant messaging client that is created by Microsoft to work with Windows operating system. Windows Live Messenger offers plenty of emoticons and winks to cheer-up conversations. The application features an interface that is customizable, and messaging options include a photo-sharing application with an album viewer that is based on Windows Photo Gallery and provides users with a photo viewing experience for photo albums shared in SkyDrive and Facebook. It allows users to appear offline to particular individual contacts while appearing online to others. The application is integrated with other social networks, which enables users to connect with services such as Facebook, MySpace, and LinkedIn using Windows Live Profile. Following Microsoft's acquisition of Skype and the discontinuation of Microsoft Live Messenger, users were advised that all contacts will be moved to Skype, which has wider user base.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. esclavo.exe. is used by Windows Live Messenger, If you shut down esclavo.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop esclavo.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Windows Live Messenger, from your system.
