Sony Ericsson PC Suite is the software that executes a process called CAPI_Worker Module, executed through epmworker.exe. The file is usually stored in C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Mobile\Mobile Phone Monitor\epmworker.exe. File sizes vary, depending on the version of the software that installed it. Generally however, file sizes are between 836 KB and 996 KB. RAM usage is around 8 MB. The file’s main function is to enable your computer to recognize your Ericsson mobile unit when you plug it in through the USB port on your laptop or CPU. You can download pictures, music and video from your mobile phone directly to the PC. While this is an essential file for Ericsson mobile phone owners, users find that the file takes up too much CPU usage; more than what is normally its fair share of memory. Users also find this running in Task Manager even when no Ericsson phone is attached to the PC. Consequently, users disable the file when they have no need to connect their phones to the PC.
