The process enport.sys is known as the ENPORT driver and relates to the software ENPORT Model Builder, which is a tool used for multiport modeling of mechatronic systems. Mechatronics, a combination of mechanics, electronics, and other technical areas that include computer engineering is a design process, the prime example of which is the industrial robot. The multiport concepts that are embedded in the software ENPORT support core ideas of multiport modeling that is easy to use, customizable, flexible in design, and provide practical support for component libraries. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. enport.sys. is used by ENPORT Model Builder, If you shut down enport.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop enport.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ENPORT Model Builder, from your system.
