What is  encrypted.exe

The file encrypted.exe is also known as Program Lock and File Encrypt (WinGuard Pro), which is software from WinGuard Pro Team that password-protects Windows programs, encrypt files, folders and drives, and keep other users of the computer from areas such as the Control Panel, Filesystem, and the Internet. This software enables users to prevent unauthorized access to the computer by providing a password for Windows applications, programs, and .exe files. It has a built-in encryption module that provides industry standard 128-bit AES file encryption for files and folders to provide additional security to sensitive documents. Other features that protects the system include tools that allow the user to disable Task keys, software installation, Web browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox, downloading of files, and the boot key (F8). This application is compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista and XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003 and 2008 (32 and 64-bit). In Windows 8, the user should enable .NET Framework 3.5 before installing WinGuard Pro.
