The process celled BDA Monitor Application or emMonitor Application, from the filename emmon.exe is a part of the program BDA Monitor Application, also known as emMonitor, which is a product created by eMPIA Technology, Inc., or EMPIA Technology, Inc. The emmon.exe file is a digitally signed process by Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher (Microsoft Timestamping Service), which indicates that it works with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including later versions, such as Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. As a Windows file, emmon.exe is a vital component bundled in the software, which means it must not be terminated or stopped, because it can disable the functions, and won’t execute other processes. Unless it is causing trouble to the hardware, other programs or its own software, or the user intentionally want to remove it because it is not necessary anymore, this file must continuously run in the background.
