This feature is activated by installing the EarthLink Access Software or by downloading the Accelerator directly from the EarthLink site. It is easily installed after download, and works automatically by accelerating the Web browser for faster downloads, which could be as high as seven times faster than the standard speed. EarthLink Accelerator is compatible with EarthLink's dial-up service and specified Windows and Mac browsers. It will not enhance speed for Web Mail users who have changed the Web Mail preference to a secure location. This service is free for EarthLink Internet Access subscribers.
