Associated Program: Epson Bi-Directional Service
Programm Category: Printer Software

What is  eebsvc.exe

Eebsvc.exe is the executable file for Epson's Bi-Directional Service provided for Windows 2000, Windows 2003, and Windows XP installed by the driver files of Epson multi-function printers. Multi-function printers are machines with combined functionalities of a printer, of scanner, and of fax. The program also runs on non-multifunction Epson printers as well. The Bi-Directional API is an interface for the installed Epson printer and its program and activity Status Monitor. This application can be used by two PCs. If there is a locally connected Epson CX5400 multi-function printer to one PC, and will set up another PC, the Epson Status Monitor which sits on the System Tray can work for both computers. This way the Epson multi-function printer will function bi-directional as it can respond to both machines over the network. Using the Bi-Directional API program requires enabled firewall for all PCs on the network to ensure safety for all hardware and devices intercommunicating.
