What is  edwizard.exe

The file edwizard.exe, known as Emergency Disk Wizard MFC Application, belongs to software SafeGuard Easy Client (version 4.30.0) by Ultimaco Safeware AG. This program offers full disk encryption for notebooks and PCs to ensure confidentiality of file contents against unauthorized access. SafeGuard Easy uses online encryption that is well suited for standalone systems and mobile units such as notebooks. Online encryption means that data is decrypted when it is read and loaded onto the RAM, and then automatically encrypted when it is saved. This program employs SafeGuard Easy Password that is entered during pre-boot authentication to enable the users to generate the key needed to decrypt an encrypted hard disk. SafeGuard Easy can be configured to require an appropriate token like Aladdin e Toke, Verisign USB token, or RSA SecurID 800 ID to authenticate user identification. It also supports biometric logon with Lenovo Fingerprint Sensor that identifies the user by passing a finger over the installed sensor.
