The dynupsvc.exe file is an EXE application resource item that is used by the DynDNS Updater software alongside other executable program files, certain DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules, some SYS driver utilities, particular system and background processes and various components that are packaged into the installer distributions of the DynDNS Updater application. The dynupsvc.exe process is particularly deployed as one of the major executable component resources of the DynDNS Updater Service module, which is an applet built into the DynDNS software, and the dynupsvc.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the DynDNS Updater software. This application is classified as a Windows program designed by Dynamic Network Services with a set of functions for mapping dynamic IP addresses to static IP addresses that are provided by Dynamic Network Services via their free subdomain names or paid domain names.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dynupsvc.exe. is used by DynDNS Updater and DynDNS Updater Service Module, If you shut down dynupsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop dynupsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is DynDNS Updater and DynDNS Updater Service Module, from your system.
