What is  dva.386

The dva.386 file is used by compatible Microsoft Windows systems as a virtual device driver, and the content of the dva.386 file is encoded with proprietary program logic compilation specifications. The dva.386 process communicates to the supported Microsoft Windows system the activity of the virtual devices that have been activated or installed by the user, and the system references the pieces of data transmitted by the dva.386 process, in order for the virtual device to be allowed to perform certain functions requested by the user. The dva.386 file is normally installed in the "drivers" folder under the System32 sub directory, which is found in the Windows directory of the system partition, though in some instances, the dva.386 file can be found in the application folder of the program used to generate the associated virtual devices, and this application folder is usually stored in the Program Files directory of the system partition.
