The executable process file dtsslsrv.exe is connected to display enhancement software that is identified to be as Asset Management Daemon that is considered to be part of the software Asset Management Daemon, EzTune, PANTONE Colorist, Image Tune, HP Display Assistant, Perfect Suite, forte manager and Asset Management Daemon. The process file is developed by the company Portrait Displays that is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process dtsslsrv.exe. It is found to be located in Program Files\portrait displays\imagetune folder in which location can differ in various Windows languages and versions. The process file has also the location in the subfolder C:\Program Files\Common Files or sometimes in the subfolder C:\Program Files in the directory %PROGRAMFILES%\Portrait Displays\Plugins\AM. On Windows 7/XP it has a file size of 114,688 bytes (79% of all incidences), 122,880 bytes, 118,784 bytes, 133,744 bytes or 129,648 bytes. It has a certification that has been signed by Portrait Displays Incorporated and was issued by Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer-G3. The process file is not visible and is not a Windows core file. It functions as having the ability to disseminate data on open ports to the Internet or LAN, record inputs, monitor applications, hide itself and permits auto image rotate as supplied with ViewSonic LCD monitor.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dtsslsrv.exe. is used by Asset Management Daemon, If you shut down dtsslsrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop dtsslsrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Asset Management Daemon, from your system.
