Called by the service name Secure Application Manager Proxy, the dssamproxy.exe file is a type of an executable for Windows, and is a component of the program Secure Application Manager, which is developed by Juniper Networks, Inc., or Neoteris. This executable file is digitally signed by Juniper Networks, Inc. - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2, and is considered a legitimate process that runs in the background of a computer system, particularly Microsoft Windows Operating System, which includes Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows ME, Windows 98, and Windows 95. Regardless of the Windows operating system or OS used, dssamproxy.exe needs to remain stored on a folder location, in most cases in C:\Program Files, registered into the Windows registry, and running in the background. This file must not be terminated, unless it causes problems that affect the performance of the Windows computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dssamproxy.exe. is used by Secure Application Manager, If you shut down dssamproxy.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
