What is  drwtsn32.exe

The drwtsn32.exe process or also known as the DrWatson Postmortem Debugger was created by the Microsoft Corporation. This process is a program error debugger for the Microsoft Windows and is installed with Windows. It collects information about the user’s computer when a user-mode fault occurs in a program. The information that are gathered by the Dr. Watson for Windows can be used by technical support groups to obtain and diagnose a program error. Upon detection of an error, the Dr. Watson debugger will create a text file which can be delivered and sent to asupport personnel. There is also an option for the user to create a crash dump file that can be loaded within the debugger. The drwtsn32.exe process should not be deleted and should remain within a user’s computer system. This program is a component of Microsoft’s error reporting utility and is commonly included with Windows applications. The drwtsn32.exe process is not necessary for the execution of the computer system, but it should not be removed.
