The file dpofeedb.dll, known as DigitalPersona OTS Feedback, belongs to software DigitalPersona Pro by DigitalPersona. The software DigitalPersona Pro Enterprise is a multi-factor authentication and access management solution that is managed by Active Directory, which secures access enterprise systems and applications from workstations, notebooks and desktops from a single console. Through the Active Directory infrastructure, it delivers high scalability and fault tolerance without special server hardware and enables users to enforce and protect access to computers, networks and applications from one console. Users can add strong authentication on top of Windows and existing password-based applications, without changing the apps themselves. Multi-credential authentication can include Windows password, PIN, fingerprint, contactless cards (HID iClass memory cards, HID Crescendo C700 PKI cards and mini memory cards), smart cards (PKCS11 and CSP-compatible), proximity cards (HID 125 kHz), and Bluetooth Phones. Authentication can also include combinations of credential to address growing compliance mandate and central storage of user credentials for automatic use on multiple computers.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dpofeedb.dll. is used by Digital Persona Pro, If you shut down dpofeedb.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
