Called by the name DisplayLinkUI Sys-Tray Application, the file displaylinkui.exe is an essential component of DisplayLink Core Software, a program developed and digitally signed by DisplayLink Corporation. When the program DisplayLink Core Software is downloaded, the displaylinkui.exe file is also installed and usually placed in a particular folder, which is C:\Program Files. This file is essential in a way that it can make up the program fully functional and completely working. When the launcher file of the software is loaded, displaylinkui.exe is also initiated with its own capabilities while running in the background. Therefore, this file process is an important tool that needs to be kept stored on the computer system. The absence of this particular file may disable the program. It is also possible that other modules may call for the displaylinkui.exe file and depend on it to be executed. Unless DisplayLink Core Software is entirely removed, displaylinkui.exe must run constantly on the system.
