ESPN Runtime is software that is used to watch ESPN video broadcasts online. This application has a toolbar component that works with the browser to give the user easy access to ESPN.com broadcasts. ESPN (Entertainment and Sports Programming Network) is a global cable television network that focuses on sports-related programming including live and recorded event telecasts, sports talk, shows, and other original programming. It is a joint venture of Walt Disney Company and Hearst Corporation that is operated by Disney as a sister network to ABC. ESPN is a successful sports network that offers subscription for online viewing of supported channels with the application called WatchESPN. It provides live streams of ESPN networks that can be accessed in the PC, tablet, smart phone, and Xbox 360.
