The file dgrpencx.exe, known as Digi RealPort Encryption Service, belongs to software Digi RealPort Encryption Service by Digi International. RealPort software is installed directly on the host and provides a virtual connection to serial devices, no matter where they reside in the network. RealPort is unique among COM port redirectors because it allows multiple connections to multiple ports over a single TCP/IP connection. The program RealPort with Encryption offers a secure Ethernet connection between the COM and TTY port and a device server or terminal server. This application prevents data sniffing over TCP/IP connections and ensures secure data transmission for online banking and credit card transactions. It offers reliable and proven performance in the protection of sensitive information with the use of an efficient security algorithm. RealPort with Encryption works with DigiOne IAP, PortServer TS, and DigiConnect device server and terminal server solutions.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dgrpencx.exe. is used by RealPort Encryption Service, If you shut down dgrpencx.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop dgrpencx.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is RealPort Encryption Service, from your system.
