The file ddmi2.sys, known as DDMI Service, belongs to software SDDMI2 from Gteko. Gteko is an Israel based company that specializes in software catered towards self-help and remote support. The company clients include HP and Cisco, providing software with self-help tools including a support page that connect a user to a technician to assist troubleshoot issues from remote support. The process SDDM12 is a driver from Gteko that is installed to support the functionality of the device or service for which it was intended. The installed software enables remote support from a support center or agent. A support agent provides answers to questions from customers regarding use and troubleshooting of equipment, usually over the phone. Agents provide support for hardware, software, and use or application of different pieces of equipment, for example peripheral devices attached to computers.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ddmi2.sys. is used by SDDMI2, If you shut down ddmi2.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ddmi2.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is SDDMI2, from your system.
