The d3d932.dll file has been identified by the different system security tools of many users as a malicious program associated with variants of the Trojan.Gen and the Trojan.Gen.2 applications, which are families of Trojans and worms known to infect unprotected Windows-based computers with outdated or missing OS security certificates and an unsecured Windows System Registry. Other users claim that their anti-malware applications flag the d3d932.dll file as a Trojan downloader related to the Win32/Tracur.Q program, which is a family of Trojans and worms reported to be capable of exploiting and using the unencrypted TCP/IP network ports of the unprotected Windows-based system to download more malicious programs unto the system from predesignated remote servers that are said to be managed by the authors of the d3d932.dll malware. A few users also claim that their anti-malware tools classify the d3d932.dll file as a malicious program associated with the Win32/Tracur.B application, which is another family of Trojans and worms. All these user groups claim that the d3d932.dll malware is distributed with executable component processes that can create and inject keys and entries into the unsecured Windows System Registry of the unprotected computer upon the initial placement and activation of these malware items in the system, and these registry strings are said to enable the d3d932.dll malware and its EXE component files to automatically initialize during system startup and to operate as hidden or cloacked background processes during system runtime.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. d3d932.dll. is used by Trojan.Gen and Trojan.Gen.2 and Win32/Tracur.Q and Win32/Tracur.B, If you shut down d3d932.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop d3d932.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan.Gen and Trojan.Gen.2 and Win32/Tracur.Q and Win32/Tracur.B, from your system.
