The cursorfx.exe file is an EXE component process of the CursorFX software, which is a Windows program classified as a desktop enhancement tool that was developed by Stardock. The CursorFX software is embedded with a set of features for integrating a wide variety of cursor options that can be implemented into the system as global-wide or application-specific cursors. The CursorFX software also provides other cursor-related configuration settings for various supported built-in Windows programs and for compatible third party applications that are installed in the Windows-based computer. The cursorfx.exe process is specifically deployed into the system upon the installation of the CursorFX software as its executable program dispatcher file, which means users can load the CursorFX software unto the system, implement its cursor-related functionalities and access the UI (User Interface) components of this application by activating the cursorfx.exe file.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cursorfx.exe. is used by Stardock CursorFX, If you shut down cursorfx.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cursorfx.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Stardock CursorFX, from your system.
