Both these user groups claim that the ctl3d32d.dll malware is distributed with executable component processes that are said to be capable of creating and inserting keys and entries into the unsecured Windows System Registry of the unprotected computer, and these registry strings are said to allow the ctl3d32d.dll malware and its EXE component files to automatically initialize during system startup and operate as hidden or cloacked background processes during system runtime. These users also state that the ctl3d32d.dll malware is capable of exploiting system vulnerabilities like unencrypted TCP/IP network ports, especially in unprotected computers with missing or outdated OS security certificates, and these exploited system vulnerabilities are said to be used by the ctl3d32d.dll malware to download more malicious applications unto the system from predesignated remote servers, which are also said to be managed by the authors of the ctl3d32d.dll malware. According to a few users, the ctl3d32d.dll malware is also capable of secretly gathering private user data and Internet surfing information from the infected system and its installed Web browsers, and these details are said to be transmitted to these remote servers by the ctl3d32d.dll malware.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ctl3d32d.dll. is used by TROJ_SMALL.KCN and Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Small.jos, If you shut down ctl3d32d.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
