The csrcssrv.exe process is an executable component file of the CS-RCS software, which is a Windows application classified as a developer tool and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) program that was developed by ComponentSoftware, Inc. with a set of features for tracking project version changes, logging additional application functionality implementations, monitoring project collaboration progress, and for simulating application projects to test, debug and improve its embedded codes, algorithms and protocols. The csrcssrv.exe process is specifically deployed into the Windows-based computer as the executable program dispatcher file of the CS-RCS Server application, which is a small program built into the CS-RCS ALM tool, and this application assists in the deployment of collaborative application project development tools and functionalities across client systems that are connected to the network, particularly client computers that have been provided access to certain projects by server administrators. The csrcssrv.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation, configuration and deployment of the CS-RCS software across the server and client computers of the Windows-based network.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. csrcssrv.exe. is used by ComponentSoftware CS-RCS and ComponentSoftware CS-RCS Server Application, If you shut down csrcssrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop csrcssrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ComponentSoftware CS-RCS and ComponentSoftware CS-RCS Server Application, from your system.
