The csasvc.exe process file is connected to another process csifcsvc.exe. These process files are used by the Creative Solutions Print Service software or CS Professional Suite Print Service. EXE files are executable files that initialize particular tasks on a computer following encoded instructions. They were primarily created for Windows and DOS Operating Systems, but they are also compatible with other Operating Systems (except for Mac OS X). EXE files consist of machine code for a particular processor or for a family of processors. In certain Operating Systems, executable files may be named by filename extension (like .exe) or noted beside a file in its metadata.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. csasvc.exe. is used by Creative Solutions Print Service, If you shut down csasvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop csasvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Creative Solutions Print Service, from your system.
