What is  crisvr.exe

The crisvr.exe process is an executable component file of the HiPath SimplyPhone software, which is a Windows application classified as a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) communications program that was developed by Siemens. The HiPath SimplyPhone software can be used to integrate telephony functionalities into the IBM Lotus Notes program and the Microsoft Outlook application, including features for directly dialing phone numbers with a few mouse clicks from personal address books, inbox/outbox messages, journal or task folders, global directories and from databases that are embedded with LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) support. The Siemens HiPath SimplyPhone software can also be used to implement billing and call tracking functionalities through Client Matter Codes, which are client-specific codes that can be associated with each outgoing and incoming phone call made with Lotus Notes or Outlook. The crisvr.exe process is specifically deployed into the system by the Siemens HiPath SimplyPhone software to assist in the integration of these VoIP and telephony communications functionalities into the Windows-based system, and to aid in the deployment of these database and directory access features into Lotus Notes and Outlook. The crisvr.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Siemens HiPath SimplyPhone software.
