What is  cpqnimgt.exe

Called by the name NIC Agents Service, the cpqnimgt.exe file is a part of NIC Agents, a product created by Hewlett-Packard or HP Company HP Network Interface Controllers (NIC) Agents is a program that offers monitoring of a computer, by collecting the key parameters as well as measuring them, displaying information configured on the system, and generating SNMP alarms once the thresholds on the key parameters haven been surpassed. In other words, the NIC Agents have to monitor all configured NICs. Once the link of the network fails or an error occurs with the configured NIC, it is considered to have a faulty resource. What maintains the connection status of any configured NICs are the ethtool as well as MII used by the agent that helps determine the status of the resource of NIC. Otherwise, it has to utilize a broadcast or a ping. Since the file cpqnimgt.exe file is the NIC Agents Service, this process is an important tool that has to remain running on the computer system.
