What is  cpal.exe

The cpal.exe file is an executable component process of the Cookie Pal software, which is a Windows program classified as a Web browser plugin application or a BHO (Browser Helper Object) tool that was developed by Kookaburra Software with a set of Internet cookie monitoring and management features. The Cookie Pal software can allow users to implement cookie detection and blocking options into the Internet Explorer Web browser, or into other Windows applications that handle Web cookies, such as Windows Media Player and Outlook or Outlook Express among others. This means users can select the websites and online applications that may or may not insert cookies into the system, and the Cookie Pal software is also embedded with compatibility support for other widely used Web browsers (aside from Internet Explorer). The cpal.exe process is specifically deployed into the system by the Cookie Pal program as its executable application dispatcher file, which means users can load the Cookie Pal software unto the system, integrate this application into the Web browser or Windows application, access the UI (User Interface) components of this program and integrate its embedded Internet cookie management and monitoring functionalities into the Windows-based computer by activating the cpal.exe process, which is placed in the system upon the installation of the Cookie Pal software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cpal.exe. is used by Cookie Pal, If you shut down cpal.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cpal.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Cookie Pal, from your system.
