The controld.exe file is specifically integrated into the system as one of the EXE component processes of the WatchGuard System Manager software, which is an application deployed as a firewall monitoring and management program bundled into the firmware resources and device driver utilities of these WatchGuard Firebox routers. The controld.exe process particularly serves as the executable program dispatcher file of one of the WatchGuard WSEP/IPS/SPAMBlocker server-side agents integrated into the WatchGuard router firmware resources and device driver software utilities as program components of these network devices and built-in firewall applications.
How can I stop controld.exe and should I?
