The content.dll file is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) module that is implemented into the system by the Agnitum Outpost Firewall software, which is a Windows program classified as a system security application with a set of features for protecting the system against possible hacker attacks, data security threats, user privacy risks, system stability issues and data loss or corruption that may be caused by viruses, backdoor rootkits, malicious ActiveX controls of suspicious websites, Trojans, worms, spyware applications like malicious BHOs (Browser Helper Objects) and other malware items. The content.dll module is specifically deployed into the system by the Agnitum Outpost Firewall as the Outpost Firewall Kernel Mode Plugin library, which is referenced by the Agnitum Outpost Firewall software whenever this program is required to implement its system monitoring, malware detection and blocking functionalities into the Windows-based computer. The content.dll module is placed in the system upon the installation of the Agnitum Outpost Firewall software, which is also available as a Pro edition distribution.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. content.dll. is used by Agnitum Outpost Firewall and Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro and Outpost Firewall Kernel Mode Plugin Library, If you shut down content.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
