i-Catcher Video Surveillance, also Authentium ESP version 3, is the internal or service name of the process console.exe, which is a file that is among the components of the software i-Catcher Console, otherwise known as Authentium ESP of version 3, and is developed by iCode Systems Limited, also called Authentium or Ingenuity Unlimited. i-Catcher Console is a type of security program that features a scalable CCTV system, which includes other protection features, such as motion detection, device control, remote web interface, record and playback, and flexible display options. This software is compatible with a variety of camera types, like network/IP video cameras and servers, USB webcams, and capture cards, which is used for connection to analogue CCTV cameras. Because the file console.exe is a part of this security application, it is an essential component that needs to continue run in the background of the computer system, particularly Windows operating system by Microsoft Corporation.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. console.exe. is used by i-Catcher Console, If you shut down console.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop console.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is i-Catcher Console, from your system.
