What is  compstuid.dll

The compstuid.dll file is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) module that is implemented into Microsoft Windows NT and other widely used versions of this platform, such as Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. The compstuid.dll file is specifically deployed into the system to serve as an extension of the Common Property Sheet User Interface library, which is referenced by Microsoft Windows whenever there are documents queued for printing, in order to define the page printing layout attributes and templates along with the associated printing/AIO device options that are available for the user to choose from. The compstuid.dll file also works in conjunction with the Common Property Sheet User Interface library and available printer spoolers to implement user configurations into printing tasks, such as paper size, printing quality, color, image resolution and layout properties among others. The compstuid.dll file is placed in the system alongside other Windows components and resource libraries.
