The cmspcsutilsvc.exe process is an executable component file of the Sprint PCS Connection Manager software, which is a Windows program classified as a device management application that was developed to synch certain Sprint PCS phones like the Sprint PCS Vision phone model with Windows-based computers. This means the cmspcsutilsvc.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Sprint PCS Connection Manager software and is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the Sprint PCS Connection Manager Service Utility application, which is a small program built into the Sprint PCS Connection Manager software. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cmspcsutilsvc.exe. is used by Sprint PCS Connection Manager and Sprint PCS Connection Manager Service Utility, If you shut down cmspcsutilsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cmspcsutilsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Sprint PCS Connection Manager and Sprint PCS Connection Manager Service Utility, from your system.
