The clientgw.exe process is an executable file deployed into the system by the eSnips client software, which is a Windows program designed to allow eSnips subscribers and registered members to quickly and conveniently access their eSnips accounts, upload and download content materials from the eSnips network and share their files with other eSnips members. The clientgw.exe process is specifically integrated to assist the eSnips client program in the integration of its account access, file searching and downloading/uploading functionalities into the Windows-based system and for aiding the eSnips client application in using the TCP/IP network ports of the system whenever the user requires access from the eSnips client program to the online resources provided by the eSnips network. The clientgw.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the eSnips client software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. clientgw.exe. is used by eSnips Client, If you shut down clientgw.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop clientgw.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is eSnips Client, from your system.
