The clcache.exe process is an executable program component of the Swyx Server software, which is a Windows program classified as a digital PBX network server application that was developed with a set of features for handling and processing incoming and outgoing call verification procedures, call in/call out connection requests and phone switching tasks. The clcache.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the ClientCache application, which is a small program embedded into the Swyx Server software, and this application is responsible for caching call-related requests and data transmitted to and from client computers and Swyx Server systems that are connected to the same digital PBX network. The clcache.exe file is placed in these client and server systems upon the installation and integration of the Swyx Server software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. clcache.exe. is used by Swyx Server, If you shut down clcache.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop clcache.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Swyx Server, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.
