The ckvo0.dll file has been flagged by the system security tools of many users as a malicious program associated with the Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Magania.ajgc program, which is a family of Trojans known to infect Windows-based systems. As a Trojan, these users claim that the ckvo0.dll file is disguised as a legitimate DLL (Dynamic Link Library) module but is actually an executable process that is said to be capable of creating and inserting keys and entries into the Windows System Registry upon its successful placement and activation in the system, in order for the system to allow the ckvo0.dll file to automatically initialize during system startup. These same users state that the ckvo0.dll file is capable of operating as a hidden background process during system runtime and can secretly search for unprotected TCP/IP network ports. According to these user reports, the ckvo0.dll file is capable of exploiting and using these unencrypted TCP/IP network ports to download more malicious programs from predesignated remote servers that are managed by the authors of the ckvo0.dll file.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ckvo0.dll. is used by Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Magania.ajgc, If you shut down ckvo0.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ckvo0.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Magania.ajgc, from your system.
